Liam Herbert, Jeweler

There’s no doubt that Liam Herbert is a visionary artist. His jewelry and sculptures radiate an energy that reflects its viewer in a very personal way, which is appropriate considering the intimate nature of his medium. Liam’s art expresses the entire gamut of life’s emotions: love, joy, family, faith, fear, greed, health, forgiveness, grace and tenderness. “It gives me great pleasure and a deep sense of satisfaction knowing that collectors from around the world enjoy my work,” says Liam. “People are drawn to my work for different reasons. Perhaps they want to remember a loved one who has passed or the joy of a new birth or the hope for peace and health. I want my art viewed with a passion and compassion that speaks to your inner soul the same way it speaks to mine.”

When he was just 7 years old, Liam began carving wood under the tutelage of renowned abstract wood expressionist Raoul Hague in Woodstock, New York. He received formal training at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. While living in the city, Liam worked as a production property master on more than 50 Broadway shows. Today, he resides in Sedona, where he creates contemporary jewelry in silver and gold as well as sculptures in bronze.

Liam has been commissioned to create sculptures for clients in Italy, Luxembourg and Germany. He was a featured artist at the Sedona Arts Festival in 1994 and has exhibited his work in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Florida. Liam’s work has appeared in the New York Post, Art Talk, Phoenix Magazine and Sedona Monthly.
